About Me My Review
House of Blues, Los Angeles, CA April, 12, 2008 - Yellowcard Wiki
Review by: YCViolinRocker

Age: 18
Home town: Los Angeles

Have been a fan since: 2002

Went to the show with: 4 of my friends, now they are YC fans as well!

My concert shots:

The venue did not allow us to enter cameras.
I watched the show from (front row, balcony, etc.)...left side facing the stage, got a very good view.

Pre-show happenings: Treaty of Paris, Play Radio Play, and The Spill Canvas

I'd describe the crowd as...Very energetic and loud for singing, it made the enviorment much better. It was a great feeling that most of the crowd was singing along not only to their older stuff, but their new songs as well It was also great to see many new fans there, even though they did not know the words to OFTK or Underdogs, it was still good that they came. I met many new fans.

Onstage antics:
----

Onstage set design: none.

Onstage fashion: the usual haha!

Offstage antics: ----

Backstage antics:
----

The highlight of the show was... They played many of their old stuff, many from OFTK.

Most awesome song/performance:
All of them!!

Best heard live: All of them. YC is really great at giving live performances, especially acoustic as well as electric, they sound great and natural.

Weakest song: There is no weak song of theirs, they are all kickass!

Wish they would have played: Gifts and Curses, Firewater, Bombers, Shadows and Regrets, The Takedown, Paper Walls

Quote of the night:
"Gentleman, what do you do, if they don't like you back?....Sing them a Yellowcard song." ~Ryan Key (4/12/08)

My review in one word:
Unforgettable.
