kind of mad
May 26 2008, 11:16 AM EDT I'm kind of mad that fans booed Ryan and wrote things about him on the message board when he first started with the band, according to an article. It was not his fault Ben left but i think it was good in a way, because Ryan is a good guitarist and may have never been recognized if it wasn't for yellowcard. so shame on those who did that! Mendez rocks. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: kind of mad
May 27 2008, 6:08 AM EDT he's a great guitarist. i love mendez. i love how he truly makes an effort to communicate with his fans and he doesn't deserve to be bagged out like that. I haven't heard any bad comments about him, but if people are really saying that they obviously know nothing about the whole Ben situation. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: kind of mad
May 27 2008, 10:56 AM EDT This was like...3 years ago and it obviously doesn't happen anymore because people got to know Mendez. But Ben was Ben and was (and still is) loved and adored by YC fans all over the world. So to have him leave/get kicked out or whatever happened with no explanation was hard for people to take 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: kind of mad
May 27 2008, 11:08 AM EDT it was an interview with mendez i read it from. I understand it was three years ago. But i thought everyone accepted him right away. I wasn't happy ben left but i was open to a change and was willing to accept whoever it was. I still have to find it, i found it when i was researching how much his guitar cost lol. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: kind of mad
May 27 2008, 11:51 AM EDT Oh no he wasn't accepted right away, poor dude. I remember on the YCMB people were pretty ruthless towards him, like really ruthless. But he went out and did his thing and now he's just as loved as Ben. Haha as for the Les Paul customs...it really depends on the year they were made and what kind of "features" I guess you can call it, that they have. I googled "Les Paul Custom" and clicked a link and they had a bunch listed. Anywhere from about $350-3,000 0 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
